Here come the Super-Allies! [GA]

After the shocking reversals in France and the Dunkirk evacuation, the Allies were facing an uphill struggle against the Axis already, and then, like a bolt from the blue, he arrived. Der Flieger, a genuine Übermensch, with powers beyond reason, the crowning jewel of the Luftwaffe and the final word in Aryan superiority. Faced with Fascist domination of the globe, MI-13 and the NKVD began joint programmes to create a team of extraordinary individuals that could stand up to the might of the Nazi Übermensch...

Red Tide, Jack Churchill, Jacques Noir, Kilroy and Wojtek; the Super-Allies!

The Super-Allies
Comprising members from England, Poland, France and even the Soviet Union and the United States of America, the Super-Allies are the specialist first-strike unit for all missions involving the weird or fantastic. Part commando team, part super-soldiers and part propaganda tool, the Super-Allies have fought across Occupied Europe, Africa and even China and the Far East, striking a blow against Fascism around the globe.

"Fighting" Jack Churchill: The way MI-13 figure it, if you're going to send someone out to lead a team of monsters and kill Nazis, you may as well send the maddest Nazi-killer you have.
Lieutenant-Colonel John Malcolm Thorpe Fleming "Jack" Churchill has no extraordinary abilities, but routinely goes into battle armed with longbow, Scottish broadsword and bagpipes and has used all three with deadly results since the outbreak of the war. High Command remains slightly concerned with Churchill's zeal for battle and the Super-Allies has become the perfect outlet for his commando skills and almost-fanatical aggression.

Kilroy: Although the American government remains adamant on its position of neutrality, elements within the OSS are undertaking "clandestine actions" to "gather intelligence" in Europe. The result of bizarre experiments with radium and LSD, code-name "Kilroy" possesses unique abilities that enable him to fade from sight and pass through walls, rendering him the ultimate spy. Although officially a member of the Super-Allies, Kilroy rarely operates openly with the team and does not appear in any of the published comics or newsreels, as the USA wishes to remain neutral for as long as possible.

Jacques Noir: Jacques Noir has been a Parisian urban legend since the Revolution, when it was said that he stole from the aristocracy to feed the starving masses. Like most legends, this was only part true, as Jacques was actually a cat-burglar and gentleman thief who kept the richest spoils for himself. The title was handed down, with each generation having it's own legends around the black-clad thief in the night. With Paris occupied, Jacques has taken on a new role, assassinating Nazi officers, aiding the resistance and freeing prisoners; he has been welcomed back by the people of Paris as their saviour once again. However, only a handful of people know that the new Jacques Noir is, in fact, a woman, the great, great, great Granddaughter of the original flamboyant thief, disguised as a man and striking a blow for Free French everywhere!

Jack Churchill (Warlord), Kilroy (Warlord) and Jacques Noir (Reaper)

Wojtek the Soldier Bear: Many Allied soldiers know the story of Wojtek, the bear cub rescued by a Polish Artillery Corps and given the rank of Private to act as their mascot. What few outside of MI-13 know is that Wojtek was once captured by the SS and handed over to the SWD for experimentation. By the time Jack Churchill led a daring commando raid, Wojtek had been altered to be a highly-intelligent (for a bear), super-strong (even for a bear), killing machine. The SWD had planned to use him as a sleeper agent against the Polish forces, but failed to take into account just how much the dedicated Polish soldier hated Nazis. Churchill and team arrived to find a bloodied bear surrounded by dead Nazis and soon had themselves a new recruit.

Heroic Red Guardian of Socialism and the People (AKA "Red Tide"): The first of several promised "super-soldiers" from the Soviet Union, "Героический красный страж социализма и рабочих", or "Red Tide" as the non-Russian speaking allies tend to call him, is a towering powerhouse and rampaging engine of destruction. Super-strong, capable of leaping over obstructions and flipping tanks with swings of his hammer "Red Tide" is billed as the answer for Der Flieger and the other "Super-Fascists" in Red Army propaganda. Only time will tell, as the pair have yet to meet on the field of battle, but until then, Red Tide is a valued member of the Super-Allies Team.
